After 7 years and 265 days in office the Bush Legacy is all but complete. The question is will he use his final days in office to repair any of the damage he has caused, or will it be more of the same?

T-Minus 100 Days

Welcome to this new blog, which will track, analyze and provide commentary on the final 100 days of the Bush Presidency.

Normally when a President takes office, the first 100 days are watched closely as guideposts to how the Administration will take shape. 2,820 days ago, when Bush first took office, America was a much different country.

With 100 days to go until his term is over, President Bush stands at a precipice. The country is in an economic free fall. On his watch, we face the greatest economic challenge since the Great Depression. His approval rating is now lower than Richard Nixon's on the day he resigned. It is just slightly above the all time low, recorded by Harry Truman. The President does not campaign for his own party, as no candidate, from John McCain on down would dare to be seen with him. His presidency is all but a lost cause. A chance for conservatives that failed, a leap of faith for this country that went horribly astray.

These last 100 days are important, not only to Bush but to this country. Before the keys to the White House are turned over to the next leader, maybe decisions need to be made. This blog will follow those decisions and will countdown along with the rest of the country to the end of our long national nightmare.
